What do I do if a lesson runs over the agreed time?

Agree the lesson duration before booking so you’re paid correctly for your time. If a lesson runs over, you can let the student have the extra time free, or arrange to be paid for it, but always discuss it with the student first. We don’t want students charged more than they expected.

If you want to be paid for the extra time

1. Discuss it with your student before staying on.
2. Let us know, and we’ll book in the extra time.
3. We may need to confirm with the student first, so it might not appear immediately. Tell the student they’ll need to confirm the extra payment with us.

Online lessons

You don’t need to do anything to extend an online lesson. At the end of the booked time, the classroom continues automatically, so you can stay as long as you need. Extending doesn’t automatically charge the student, so if you want to be paid for the extra time, discuss it first and contact us to book it in.
