For Students & Parents - How and when do I pay for lessons?

You pay by card, and we only ever take payment 24 hours after each lesson has taken place. To confirm your first lesson with a tutor, you provide your payment details in advance.

Confirming your first lesson

• Provide your payment details more than 6 hours before your first lesson, to confirm the time slot (similar to giving card details for a hotel booking).
• Authenticate the payment with a code sent by your bank, for security.

Future lessons

You won’t re-enter your details for further lessons with the same tutor. We take payment 24 hours after each session from the same details, and future lessons are confirmed automatically. Occasionally your bank asks for a payment to be re-authenticated, which we can’t control. If so, we send you a checkout form to complete.

Reminders and cancellations

• We send a reminder email 24 hours before each session.
• You can cancel for free if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start time. Please see our cancellation policy for more details.

Payment methods we don’t accept

Our tutors don’t accept cash, and we can’t accept childcare vouchers.
