How do I stay safe?

Modified on Mon, 27 Jul at 3:41 PM

Like any similar business where you're working on your own with clients, there will be a time when you'll be meeting new students for the first time, and there are a few simple things that help you stay safe. You don’t need to be sceptical of everyone, but do use the tools available.

Use the Tutorful messaging system

  • Ask any questions through the messaging system, and tell us if you have concerns.
  • You don’t have to book a lesson if you’re not confident about a student. Just let them know you can’t help.
  • Keep all contact on the platform, even after a lesson is confirmed, so we can see messages and step in if needed.

Let us help

If you’re unsure or have concerns, contact us and we can call the student for you. You can also report a student if something doesn’t feel right.
