We only ever use your bank details to pay money into your account for the lessons that you teach. We use a payment system called Stripe, one of the largest payment providers in the world. Everything is password protected and is so secure that even we, at Tutorful, cannot view your bank details once you have entered them. We process over ten thousand lessons per week using this provider and have never experienced any security problems.
Your ID document is held securely and will never be shared with anyone who visits the site, so no students or parents will ever have access to it. The reason we require your ID document before you're able to register and start tutoring with us is in order to comply with money laundering regulations for sites like ours - we're not able to pay you for the lessons that you teach without it.
