If you don’t have an enhanced DBS check dated within the last three years, we’ve partnered with uCheck to make it simple.
How to get your link
Contact our support team via live chat or email support@tutorful.co.uk to receive a link. You must use this link rather than going to uCheck directly. If you’re a new applicant without a check, we’ll invite you to get one once we’ve reviewed your application.
When you register with uCheck, use the same name and email address you registered with at Tutorful.
What it costs
An Enhanced DBS check through uCheck costs £65.20. We provide this at cost and don’t profit from tutors applying for or holding a DBS check. The digital ID check apps (Yoti and Post Office) may charge a small additional service fee.
If you provide incorrect information that stops the DBS service processing your check, you may not be refunded, so check every stage of your application carefully.
After your check
Once you receive your DBS check, upload it to your Tutorful profile.
Access NI and PVG
We can’t currently help applicants secure Access NI or PVG checks. PVG checks can also take longer than usual, as PVG Scotland has a different process.
