Why has my lesson expired?

Modified on Mon, 27 Jul at 2:08 PM

A lesson expires when it isn’t confirmed in time. Once your tutor books your first lesson, we message you by text and email to confirm the details and enter your payment details if you did not do this initially. You have until 12 hours before the start to confirm, and we send reminders.

What “expired” means

If your lesson shows as expired, it’s been cancelled because it wasn’t confirmed before the 12-hour cut-off. The lesson may not go ahead, as your tutor won’t be expecting you.

How to rebook

  1. Contact your tutor to check they’re still available.
  2. They’ll book the lesson again, possibly at a new date and time.
  3. Confirm the new booking in the usual way. See “How do I confirm my lesson?”.

Please don’t attend an expired lesson without confirming a new booking.
