How the service fee works
Instead of commission, we add a service fee on top of your hourly rate. The student pays this fee, and it helps cover the cost of running the platform.
The service fee is our main source of revenue. It lets us keep attracting new students and keep developing tools like the Tutorful apps and the online classroom.
What this means when you set your rate
Students pay a service fee on top of your hourly rate. Together, these make up the total lesson price shown on your profile, so keep that in mind when setting your fees.
