If you don’t have an enhanced DBS check dated within the last 3 years, we have partnered with uCheck to make the process as simple as possible.
If you would like to get an enhanced DBS check, you can contact our support team via live chat or email us at support@tutorful.co.uk to receive a link! You will need to use this link rather than going to uCheck directly. Please note that if you are signing up to become a tutor and don't have a background check, you'll be invited to get an check once we have reviewed your application.
When you do register with uCheck, you'll need to make sure to use the same name and email address that you have registered with us at Tutorful.
It costs £48.80 to apply for an Enhanced DBS check through uCheck - we are providing this at cost from the provider, and Tutorful do not profit from tutors applying for or holding a DBS check.
Please note that if you provide incorrect information during your DBS check application which means the DBS service cannot process your check, you may not be refunded, so please ensure that you do provide correct information at every stage of the application.
Once you have received your DBS check, you will need to upload it onto your Tutorful profile.
Please note that we are not able to help applicants secure an AccessNI check at this time, and PVG checks can take longer than the outlined time period to receive, as PVG Scotland do have a different process for securing background checks.
