New students can now get in touch with you by booking their first lesson through your profile, so you won't need to create the initial booking yourself!

There are some situations where you may need to be  book a lesson on a student's behalf, such as:

  • Booking a new lesson for an existing student.
  • Rebooking a first lesson if the student's original booking was cancelled.

To do so, you can use the “Lessons” option at the top of your screen. Under “Upcoming Lessons” you will then see the button to “book a lesson”.

Fill in the details of your lesson together and check the lesson price at the bottom is correct - this is the amount the student will pay in total for the lesson, which is your hourly rate plus our service fee. As soon as you click "Create Booking" we'll add the lesson to our system and we'll email your student to ask them to confirm the session.

If you've booked more than a day in advance, students will then have up to 12 hours before their first session to confirm the booking by entering their payment details. We'll keep you updated and message you as soon as they've confirmed so you know you're good to go!

Please note that lessons can only be booked up to 6 hours in advance, so you wouldn’t be able to book a lesson for in 3 hours time, for example.

Booking recurring lessons

Weekly lessons are selected by default when creating a booking, making it quick and easy to schedule regular tuition.

If the student only needs a single lesson or would prefer lessons every fortnight, simply change the 'Weekly' option to 'One off' before confirming the booking.

Booking recurring lessons won't charge the student for all sessions upfront. Instead, they'll only be charged after each lesson takes place.

Where possible, we recommend booking recurring lessons, as students appreciate having their regular sessions scheduled in advance.
