We can only accept Enhanced DBS checks, the PVG Scheme Record or an Enhanced Access NI check dated within the last three years.
If you have one of these checks, we must have seen a copy before you can claim this on your profile and tutor with us. To do this, log into your account and head to your profile. When in editor mode, you can find an option to upload your background check, as shown below:
From here, you'll just need to upload a clear copy of your certificate, then click save.
We only accept enhanced DBS checks, as standard and basic checks don't provide the level of information we require.
When uploading a photo of your DBS check, please make sure that it is:
In colour
Enhanced
Dated within the last three years
Visible in one photo
Readable!
If you are on the DBS Update Service:
If you provide us with information to run a check on the DBS Update Service you will need to supply an image of the original certificate as well as we cannot run a check without having seen this.
For us to run a check you will need to provide us with the certificate number, your surname as it appears on the certificate and your date of birth. Please note we need the certificate number, not the Update Service ID number.
