Yes. All tutors teaching on the Tutorful site must have a DBS certificate or equivalent.
To be awarded Background Checked status on our site and in order to tutor with us, you’ll need to provide us with proof that you have a clean enhanced background check dated within the last three years, or that you’re registered with the DBS Update Service. You’ll then have a lovely Background Checked badge added to your profile!
We accept Enhanced DBS certificates, the PVG Scheme Record, and Enhanced Access NI checks - you can find more information about what we accept when awarding Background Checked status in our terms and conditions (https://tutorful.co.uk/terms).
